I think my interest in baking started with my mom. She was always baking and trying new things and they sure tasted good. I enjoy baking breads, cookies, pies, and basically anything sweet. I started baking bread on a regular basis when the book “Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day” came out by Zoë François and Jeff Hertzberg, M.D. Their breads are so easy to make and of course they taste so good. Sometimes I sell my baked goods at the farmers market. My favorite book now is “Holiday and Celebration Bread in Five Minutes a Day.” Part of the reason I think I really enjoy it is because there are so many kinds of sweet breads.
